What: Wal-Mart will host Senator Ryan McDougle on August 4 to launch Virginia’s first-ever sales tax holiday.
Wal-Mart stores throughout Virginia are adding all computers and equipment to the list of back-to-school items included in the three-day savings event, August 4-6.
Wal-Mart will offer special tax-free savings on all computers, computer equipment and computer accessories at every price, as well as school supplies costing $20 or less per item, or clothing, including footwear, priced at $100 or less per article. A checklist of eligible items, including supplies required by local schools, is available at the store; tax-free savings are available for in-store purchases only.
